If you see BN and One-headed Snake, which one will you hit? BN. Why? Because BN is two-headed snake. At one point, Najib told the Malays that DAP will set up Negara Kristian, on the other hand Chua CD told the Chinese that PAS will set up Hudud law.

Bangkok has me!

If I don't return by the next morning, then Bangkok has me!

Those are the words that the 3 musketeers have come to agreement while on the way to Bangkok for the first time ever. When I mention Bangkok to my friends and family, the first impression they give you is Bangkok is Dangerous!
Proof : CLICK HERE reported by The Biased Star.
I thought so,after all the movie The Hangover Part 2 was taken in Bangkok.
Have you watched this super troublemaker comedy?
You should do so,as a guideline before you go to Bangkok.

Arriving in Bangkok, the first thing we had was being the victims of the taxi scam.
450 bahts to our hotel,
Prince Palace Hotel
The No. 1 Recommended hotel at Bangkok.com
By the way,Bangkok.com is very helpful if you are visiting Bangkok. You can obtain all the info at there.

Never had we realized that we had overpaid because if you insist(fiercely that type,as if you have a gun in your pocket) to use the taxi meter, you would actually be paying only around 300 bahts, including toll fees.
Lesson Learned : Always use the taxi meter.

In Bangkok, the traffic is terrible. The entire traffic is always jam, very jam. Thus, sometimes taking the taxi may not be the best option though.
Worry not, they have a public transport which we call it The Dark Knight.

These are the Dark Knights. The real name is Tuk Tuk.
They can easily avoid the traffic by swerving to the right,to the left,to the middle,to the sky, across the bridge....Suffice to say, they can drive like Dark Knight, maybe even better.Fast and Furious is another
nickname for them.
The only disadvantage other than being too fast is Price Bargain.
Almost all the drivers want to dig a hole in your pocket.Often, they will start with a price of 300 Bahts, but normally you MUST bargain till below 100 Bahts. If not, just pretend to leave and they will be begging you to ride for a price cheaper than 100 Bahts. Our cheapest ride is only 15 Bahts for 3 persons!!!!
Lesson Learned : Bangkok is a place where Price only goes down, never up!

Or the final option: by the MRT

Before I went,I heard and read from books that all the wordings at the station were in Thai's,thus taking the MRT was never an option to consider. However, that was not true.Hereby,I strongly refute the claim because there are words written in Thai's as well as in English.
Anyway, taking the MRT to your destination is convenient and cost-saving.
If you are a Madrid fans, you should have extra incentive to use it.
Lesson Learned : 读万卷书,不如行万里路 Instead of studying from textbook, you might as well visit the place to obtain the real knowledge.

Sawadika and Kap kun ka are the only 2 Thai words that I know before I went there.Enough to survive though. Now that I am back from Bangkok,Sawadika and Kap Kun Ka are still the only 2 words I know.

Do you call that the Sawadika examples?
Why not.
With the soldier, with Ronald. Sa-wa-di-kaaaaaaaaaaa!

Now,I am bringing you on a tour in the No.1 Recommended Tourist Attraction.
Let's go!

Here it is at the No.1 Recommended Tourist Attraction in Bangkok,The Grand Palace!
Almost all the buildings are build with gold, not sure if it's all real though. If yes, then it must be very amazing and impressive.
Please forgive my ugly and weird long pants. It was rented at the palace because...........

See.The picture explains everything.
Which one of the attires do you think I was wearing at that time?
Of course short pants la....
I rarely wear long pants....so hot....try to challenge the weather meh.

Still wondering why on earth that no one has mentioned this rule before?
Damn, all they said about the grand palace are the history of the buildings, how great it is....bla bla bla....Never mention a word about this.Cis!
Let me be the one who tell you this so that the next time you go there, you will remember to wear long pants!

More HQ photos(from keen's phone) for the Grand Palace.

Next up is the awesome Marine Park and Safari Zone.
The total ticket price for both parks is 900 bahts, which in my opinion is very worthwhile.Taxi cost about 700 Bahts for return which also includes toll fees.

Outside the Safari and Marine Park.

While walking happily in the park,

Above is the Orang Utan Show where you get to see Orang Utan in Muay Thai Boxing.
I seriously begin to believe that human really origin from Orang Utan,or at least have the same ancestors. The Orang Utan is so freaking smart. You have to watch the show to be amazed by their intelligence!

Walrus Lim showing his mischievous side.
By the way,to explain his new nickname of Walrus,I just have to show you the real Walrus photo above.Other than huge in size, can you accidentally see that the Walrus has a gargantuan penis? That isn't even an erection yet.Now you know why Jx has a new nickname.
How true it is? No one knows.
Oh wait,I have found a better view of the Walrus penis. In mega view.........

By the way,we also went to feed the giraffe.
To my realization,Giraffe has long long tongue and they eat Bananas!

A group of Giraffes in the Safari Zone.
The Safari Zone is exactly like the Pokemon Safari. If all the animals were pokemon, there are lots of them waiting in the zone.Just bring your pokeball/ultra ball to catch them, ranging from Giraffe,Zebra,Lion,Tiger to Rhino.
By the way,I wish to show you that the Giraffe looks freaking noob. The rest are cute and smart. That poor Giraffe. No wonder no one wants to feed him.He was so hungry until he kept on biting the metal.Haih.....

                          Team Bring It!
                      Pounce like a Tiger!

Oh yea,I have forgotten to tell you that the naked pondan is very guai lan. When you walk pass the censor,he/she will blast water from his Nen Nen (Nipple).A lot of the tourists got trolled!!!!!

Meanwhile,Bangkok Marine Park and Safari World boast of having the best public toilet in Thailand.I have to concur to that because the toilet is really amazing. The unfortunate thing is I forgot to take photo.Grin! To compensate for that misfortune, let me show you their shopping mall public toilet sign.

See.
It seems like it is designed for Pondan,in my humble opinion.
Probably creativity?

When you are in Bangkok, there is a place that you must visit.
Thailand most must see show - Siam Niramit!!!!
All I can say about the show is I am mesmerized by it,watching it with awe.The light effects, the background, the volume, everything just awesome!
I would recommend you to reach the place earlier because other than just watching the show at 8pm,you can walk around to see the Thai's village as well as take a few photos with the elephant or the performers.
It cost us 1500 Bahts per person as we ordered a tour guide. In my opinion, you can go there easily by taxi. Thus,it is quite meaningless to follow a tour.

Inside the village, the visitors are fooling around with the Katana and the monkey helmet.

For only 100 Bahts, you can ride the elephant and stomp around the place.
Trivia:Elephant has thick skin, because no matter how hard you punch it,it has no feeling at all.
Trivia:To navigate the elephant, you kick their big ears.Kick its right ear,it turns left.Vice versa.
Owned the Elephant like a boss!

For the show details, please visit this website. It is very well explained.I am not sure how they got the pictures out as photo taking are strictly prohibited. That's why I am unable to take any photo in the theater to share with you.

The awesome fact about Bangkok is you know you will get a lot of fake goods.Probably not as much as you can get in Hatyai. However, when I traveled to Bangkok, the most anticipating place that I wanted to go was the night market.I was preparing to buy lots of triple A jerseys.

At Khao San Road

The Asiatique at somewhere not very near.
Traveled there by MRT,then by boat. The best night market place as the entire place is similar to straits quay type.Very windy and well organized shoplots selling fake goods at there.Sounds irony.

On the left: The Largest Open Air Market,Chatuchak Market!

I would say both the Chatuchak and Khao San Road are something you can miss out of because they don't really have much things to offer, except for the heat and bright sun. While for the Asiatique, great experience walking at there.A must Go!

Suffice to say,my 5 days 4 nights Bangkok trip was amazing.
You really have to travel to understand better.
The road experience that you get is definitely miles better than your textbook knowledge.
If you think this trip is just about the things above, you are wrong!!!!!

More to come: Ladyboy Calypso Show......Dream World......Thai Food.......and Ping Pong Show.....All on the next post!

Till then.

Cheers!

Team Bring It
